Machinery Shed & Workshop - Cunderdin, WA

The client is a renowned local spraying & cartage contractor in the Cunderdin shire district and runs a 200 hectare cropping programme on his own property. With the need for storage and maintenance work on his equipment which includes, trucks, semi-trailers, self propelled sprayers and a harvester, a purpose built shed was needed to provide secure asset shelter and storage whilst remaining within the client’s budget.

WHEATBELT STEEL’S ANSWER

A combined workshop (16m x 15m x 6.5m) and storage shed (32m x 15m x 6.5m) with Universal Beam (RSJ) trusses and columns. 3 x clearspans were part of the design and enables clear access in and out of the shed. All structural steelwork was hot dip galvanized to give maximum longevity and the workshop area was designed to include skylights in each bay to facilitate natural lighting conditions.

“I got tired of performing maintenance work out in the weather and needed to protect my machines better! I contacted Wheatbelt and was impressed by their knowledge and service. Scott did a brilliant job of putting it up too. Very happy with the shed, only regret is that I didn't make it bigger!"
